Boris Grozdanič Gorjan is an Image Director and Photographer with over eighteen years of experience shaping the visual identity of fashion and luxury brands — from a single product shot to a full campaign narrative. His career spans the complete creative journey: concept development, art direction, photography, on-set direction, and post-production. He works fluidly across campaign, e-commerce, editorial, and film — bringing the same precision and intentionality to each format. For eleven years he was embedded at Christian Louboutin, first as Lead E-commerce Photographer and Art Director in the Milan studio, then as Art Direction and Visual Production Lead working remotely with global teams. In that time he defined and maintained the visual standards of one of fashion’s most recognisable luxury houses — curating imagery, overseeing post-production workflows, and ensuring every asset conveyed the brand’s singular elegance and consistency.
As Creative Director and Photographer for Lisca, he independently conceived and executed multiple seasonal campaigns across swimwear, lingerie, and outerwear — defining mood, selecting locations, directing casting, styling, hair and makeup, and overseeing post-production from shoot to final delivery. He also directed the brand’s 70th anniversary film, crafting a visual narrative to mark the milestone.
For Aquazzura, he led the full creative direction of a campaign series — including studio work with live animals — that reached international airport advertising.
His work is defined by a sharp instinct for what a brand needs to feel like before it knows how to say it. He doesn’t just execute visual directions — he builds them.
Beyond commercial practice, he maintains an active fine art photography project across five series — Defocus, Fragile Beauty, Allegories, Considering Time, and Stories of Resilience — rooted in black-and-white analogue work and colour abstraction, exploring form, texture, atmosphere, and the quiet depth beneath visible things. Selected works are available as gelatin silver prints and framed editions.
